Art on Buildings
Hey there, I’m Kai Schatz.
My art merges graffiti with abstract expression to infuse lifeless cityscapes with vibrancy and soul.
Through color, energy, and subtle structures, I seek to transform urban environments into spaces that evoke emotion and invite new experiences.
PROJECTS
DACHSER TRAINEE WALL

Commissioned by DACHSER GmbH, a
large-scale wall artwork was created in 2025 to enhance the trainee room at the company’s Nuremberg location.
Covering an area of 45 m², the piece was realized with acrylic spray paint and acrylic markers on chipboard panels, artistically interpreting the DACHSER DNA.
Themes such as team spirit, diversity,
open-mindedness, and respect were translated
into an abstract visual language over approximately 70 hours of work, shaping the atmosphere of the space and making the company’s core values visually tangible.

TRANSFORMER HOUSE DAV - FEUCHT
In collaboration with the Feucht municipal utilities, a large-scale mural was created on a 40 m² transformer station, completed in approximately 25 hours of work.
The artwork depicts the Alps and alpine sports, while also drawing attention to the nearby DAV climbing gym.
Through its detailed and naturalistic design,
the transformer house becomes an urban eye-catcher, visually connecting themes of nature,
sport and community.

City of Fürth – „Mariensteig“

Made possible by EchtFürth and the FÜRTHFARBEN project, I collaborated with artist GLOWER to take on the artistic direction for the design of the listed stairway “Mariensteig.”
Covering an area of 80 m² and completed in around 80 working hours, the mural was executed in strict compliance with the preservation guidelines for the historic façade using breathable silicate paint, brushes, and ladders.
